We we where wheeling down behind one of our members houses and I was trying to climb this huge hill. I made it one time but I had some liquid currage. Well the last time I tried I got to the top and hit a tree and stoped forward movement. Usually when I roll back down I'll kill the motor and put it in reverse and turn the key off to use a little bit of CP to slow me down. Well this hill is too steep and I started sliding and couldn't get into reverse so I held the brakes and sorta let out on the clutch to help with the breaks.(still in low range second gear) When I got to the bottom of the hill the truck wouln't start. Started didn't move and the silinoid just clicked. So I had to pay a buddy to bring a tractor to drag my truck out of the woods. Now that I got it home I removed the starter and hooked the jumper cables to the battery and grounded the starter case and applied power. Nothing happend. I tried to turn the motor with a breaker bar and it didn't want to turn so i removed the plugs and found #6 with the gap almost closed like something had hit it. and # 8 was soaked like raw fuel ran into the cylinder while I was on the hill. The rest of the plugs looked alillle to dark for me but thats going to be fixed the the injection system. I thought that the distro gear could have broke or camshaft when the motor tried to turn backwards. I pulled the distro and from the top down it looked ok. I also primed the oil pump again and I had 60PSI so no bearing trouble right?
I could use some help. This is just to wierd. I will be getting a starter today so I'll keep you posted.

Ok, let me see if I'm following you correctly... first your running a manual trans right. You tried starting and all it did was click. Took the starter off and it wouldn't spin over. If the starter wouldn't spin make sure you had a good ground on the starter, if you've got a good gound and 12v to the post it should spin. If not it's time to get a new one.
You tried spinning the engine by hand but it won't move, are you sure the clutch is disengaging and out of gear?
