Rebate question
I know when I left here to come up to NY the rebate was still listed as $2500 on gas Super Duties. I thought the new rebates were to come out today, so I went over to Fordvehicles.com and discovered the new rebates don't come out until Aug. 3. But here is something interesting. It lists the rebate as being $3000 from July 13- Aug 2. What gives? How can they just go back and amend it? Like I said, I am almost positive I looked on the night of the 15th before I left and it still said $2500. Heck, I am almost poositive I looked last week when I got back and it still said $2500. Edmunds is showing the same, except the dates are from July13- Sept30

The rebates did not change at all. They are still, $1500 rebate for diesel engines, and $3000 for gas engines. These are in effect until August 31, and september for the harley davidson edition. Hope this helps. 
By the way, ford did release incentives for the 2005 Superduty. No cash rebates yet just low interest rates for financing.

6.0, I bought my truck with $2500 (gas) incentive back on 7/19. They showed a $2500 incentive even when I got back with the truck, say 7/23 or so. For some reason, the other day, prior to the new rebates being released, they showed a $3000 rebate and it was ammended back to the 7/13 on fordvehicles.com

Huh, thats weird. It makes no sense why ford would change the rebates for a couple of days then change it back. All I know is that now as of august 3, 2004 the rebates for the gas engine are $3000.
$500 is alot of money but there isnt really much you can do now since you already bought the truck.

Yeah, it's kinda tough for me to explain it in words. Basically it had a $2500 rebate and that's what I got. I checked before I left and when I got back and it still said $2500. Now for some reason, when I checked on August 2nd, the date that the $3000 rebate started is listed as July 13th. If you go to http://www.fordvehicles.com/trucks/s...r=04&zip=32757 it shows a start date of July 13th
