tow limits
#16
will be in about 10 days when we close on the sale of our house. this has been a dream of ours for years and we both retired this last year and have been fixing up our home and giving things to our kids. can hardly wait, but looking for the right fifth wheel is driving me crazy. what we thought we would be able to have now people are telling us it is not wise. i don't want some @#$%^ cheapy fifth wheel that will fall apart in a few years. this will be our home from now on, unless we win a lottery somewhere.
sorry, just venting. my husband says it will all work out. ha ha

Austin:
If you can wait more than 10 days (and afford a brand-new truck), buy an '05 F350 - tow ratings are supposed to be up significantly for '05. Ford is suppose to announce actual tow ratings for '05 this month - that would put you up into the 15K lb range, right where you want to be, especially if you're going to Full-Time it. That's my two cents worth . . .
