Hi everyone
I am looking to buy a new Ranger 4x4 XLT Sup cap level 2 with a 4.0 liter motor. Does any one know what grade of gasoline it takes.
Also
This truck list out at 27,905 , does anyone know how low I could get the Dealer on this price. The dealer told me that thier is a $3000. rebate and they will dubble this.
How's this for a sweet deal? '04 Ranger 4x4 SuperCab, 4.0 SOHC, 5spd auto, XLT package, quad door, jump seats, trailer tow package, fog lights, bedliner & tailgate protector, bug deflector, sliding rear window, 16" alloys, step bars, and only 2,020 miles? This truck listed at just under $26k retail and I scored it for $19k with balance of factory warranty two weeks ago. I'm still smiling.
Edit: Forgot to mention the 4.10 limited slip rear (yes I checked codes ).
Runs just fine on regular unleaded and that is the recommended fuel.
Sure beats driving my 72 F250 4x4!

Yes it takes regular 87 octance. If they double the 3000 rebates it's a pretty good deal. There isn't much mark up at all in a new Ranger, from invoice to retail, trust me.
Thanks for everyones input. I just bought a 04 4x4 level 2, It listed out over $28,000 and went back and forth between two dealers and finally got it for $23,000 includeing tax, which I thought was a good deal.
Thanks for everyones input!
