Key switch power problem
Little problem. The other day my radio stopped working. I took it out and attacked it with my wire tester. Continuous power checks out, but the key switch did not light up when the key was turned. Possible reason: The key cylender has always been a little sticky, when starting the truck the key does not turn back by itself, probably due to a bad spring. Also, when turning the truck off it sometimes binds and I have to snap it back. Not good. Would this be the reason there is no power to the key switch wire going to the radio/ CD player?

you can pull the steering wheel and take a look i think someone told me there is an rod that mechanicly operates the cylinder could be broken or bent causing the bind on the switch
