You can join as many chapters as will have you...specially the ones with no president or leaders yet.

Now, even though we have setlled for this current logo. Admin has suggested I put the states names on the logo. I think it would make it cluttered looking and we may as well start over with a completely new logo. A picture with all the names on it, trying to put it on a pocket would make the web address and everything too small to even read. Man... Im getting tired of this. If I can't get all the names on there, maybe I can surround it all with an outline of all the states..if I can find an accurate image to scan and then merge them. Your thoughts? And no I aint gone yet...Im too P.O'd to be gone yet."You can do whatever you want with your logo as long as the chapter agrees" right!

ok, so I guess we need a new logo. hmmm, I'll get to thinking on this and post any ideas I get.

 

Ok here's a possible idea, take the outline of the four states, and use that as the backdrop, then put the FTE logo over the top of it, but transparent enough to show the state outlines thourhg. I know it isn't as cool as the ridr, but it looks like we are going to have to go pc rather than cool. Maybe somebody can figure out a way to still incorporate it...

 

so, get rid of the horse and just be the high plains chapter? that sucks but whatever. Im going to bed. sorry... having difficulty being positive tonight. I spent so much time and paid to have the final work done professionally. I aint paying another dime out and I don't know if I have a program that will incorporate the transparentcy of the states or the whatever into what we have. I'll look around but I don't even know where to begin tonight. and I want a logo that will fit on a pocket and be readable, like the one we had.

my standard program has it as a function, it's how I was able to do it to one of my Iowa logos, it's listed under effects. I hear ya on losing the horse, but at this time it is the only idea I have. Maybe I'll tinker with it, but I'm no graphics expert either.

 

I've been pretty quiet about all this. Sorry you hit the wall Dick, but I'm not surprised. Ken and Dennis are terrific to work with and very reasonable. Others, well.....................

As to the "suggestion" administration made re state names: if we had one name it would be easy, but since they've clumped so many states together it is a bad idea. As a chapter we approved the current version. I appreciate their 'suggestion' but it can be over-riden o/b of chapter guidelines that they set up. It isn't necessary to change a thing unless we get a cease and desist order from Ken. That's my .02.
