That actually hurts us since there will be a large gathering of trucks in topeka the weekend before our show, most that attend that show will not have the time to make the trip to Kansas again the next weekend....besides most of the "L" guys are too snobby to come to our little show.
I forgot to mention Jeff and Sara. Jeff has been talking to his local retailers and such about sponsoring. He'd also mentioned something about getting a chevy truck for us to blow the motor on.
Sarah has been talking to retailers for months about our event. She's gotten some very good offers from their local retailers.
Sorry guys...My mind is cluttered with info and I forget some things...LOL.
If anyone gets a retailer to sponsor the show in any way let me know. I am putting everyones logo on the website. If you get products you can give them to me at the lake day. I'm tracking everything that comes in so we don't forget any sponsors this year. I have a running list of sponsors so we can announce them throughout the show.
Mitch I have an update on the shirts. I will email it to you.
I am still working on a few freebies from a few of my customers at work. I have handed out numerous flyers so hopefully I can get something. I know a few people have mentioned about attending also so I took them out some registration forms.
It might also be a good idea to start a list of volunteers and what you plan on having them do (when you get that far), then you could llist other help needed and people could volunteer to help with a particular area. Just a thought.
Parking 3-4 people
Registration 3-4 people
Raffle tickets 1-2 people
So far we have offers from Rollie and his boys, Tony, Mike, and Gene. My wife has also offered to help out. That gives us a total of 7. One of us (Jon, Mtich, or myself) will man the registration, and parking at all times. That should give us just enough to cover things but we would like to have a couple extra volenteers for "back-up" Lemme know what you guys want to do and we can go from there. Thanks to all who offerd help for the show!!!!!
I can do about anything you want me to do as long as there is a Hooters girl by my side! Actully this being my first year I would like some time to roam around. Maybe registration or roving around selling raffle tickets. Anyways I'd be up for just about anything you need me to do. Well almost anything. hehe
