I've done a lot of thread searches and have not found a def answer. I'm putting my 351W ('88 F150 4x4 FI) back together -------- where does the &%%#@!!! last (7th) oil gallery plug from the kit go. Got the three at the timing chain, got the three at the south end, where does the last one go?
Did you get the one on top?
Assuming 351 is same as 302 in this respect.
The "rear lifter valley oil crossover cup plug".
Mine just blew out on me, causing oil preasure to plummit, so I'm kinda familiar with it
Top of engine, under lower intake, towards back, in the center.
Yup ---- I got that one. My kit came with three plugs (timing cover passages), the cross over plug, and FOUR threaded plugs (3 rear passages). But where does the forth threaded one go (if anywhere), or it is it extra?
