Transfer Case Shift Motor Question?
I have a '94 XLT w/ automatic transmission. I'm goin junk yard huntin for a transfer case shift motor for my truck, does anyone know what years of trucks use the same motor? I plan to buy within the next month or so, but I don't want to limit my search to just 94's if other years are using exactly the same motor. Thanks for your help.

On the backside of your case towards the bottom, there should be a little tag , on the tag in the lower right side has a couple of letters and then a number- the number 3156 , 4405 4406, etc. denotes the trans.case type. If this dont help check out your local Ford garage.Any good tech.can get you pointed in the right direction.Good luck!!HD1
