Of all the places I've driven LA is definately the worst. Especially in downtown people have a ____ed up "me first" attitude. Unfortunately, it's an eat or be eaten area. cwb I understand completely and I would have probably acted the same. A few times I even thought of taking the train into work because people drive so reckless, and stupidly. Instead I decided to give them a taste of their own medicine. It's better to bark back then get bit.

A few years back I was in Tampa on vacation going down a interstate mid afternoon so not much traffic when a miniature truck came up along side and acted like he wanted to race. after the 3rd or 4th time of him gunning it and then falling back I had had enough so just as he came along side and my wife said don't even think about it I droped the hammer on my 460 with 4.10 gears and a Banks power pack with trans comand. He was ahead of me for just as long as it took for me to get out of OD and the 460 to wind up. I let it get up to about 90 and let off slowed down to 55 were I had the cruise set, he fell way back and took the next exit, My wife looked at me and said I guess big tires don't make little trucks faster.

So far nobody has tried that with my Superduty

Hehe, nice story, I can't stand people who drive expensive cars (especially cars like Porsches) and don't use them how they were designed (to drive fast) they really get up my goat, I own a performance car, and I USE IT. Rant over.

Sometimes as silly as may seem you have to lay the law down. Out here during Moran-touron season you should see the tourist trying to drive their "SUV" on the beach. With no beach tag to boot.I love to sit just beyond the dune and watch one after another get stuck. Then here they come! Please can you ??? I always say $$$$$ and maybe?
Then when I do they something stupid and ignorant about Ford trucks. Like I can not believe how much power or I did not think I would get stuck? Duh, and they think of as a slow redneck.
