Hello Everyone, First off I love this site , alot of very smart ford truck guys here.
Well here it goes I am a HUGE ford truck man, I am getting a 1954 Ford Country Wagon from a buddy , He did not have time to restore , it is a Arizona car no rust very very clean just in a million pieces, Do you guys think it is worth restoring. And it had factory air (A must in Az)
What does that have to do with his question? Anyways restore the car and give it to your wife since she likes it. Then you can tell her that since you did one for her you should be able to do one for yourself and go out and get your dream car.
Absolutely! Rust-free '54, so there's no wood body framing to worry about. Wagons are starting to make a real comeback on the collector car market, it can only go up in value. If you don't take it, I will!
If you like the car and see it's potential, go get it.
I once had a 71 Cutlass 4dr. Everyone laughed at it when I pulled into the wednesday night car club. They stopped laughing when I started blowing doors of some of the "hot rods". That Olds 350 Rocket was a sleeper and a half!
the price is right, the car is old and collectable and parts , from what you've said, are there....what's stopping you...build...sell and buy your dream car
