I want one now but im leaving in the morning for montana. I know the sale will be over when i get back. I would drive me nuts to know i had the programmer sitting at home and not get to drive it for three weeks.

That sucks.

Just go ahead and order it, and have it waiting for you when you get home.

I have been looking all trough this site, just trying to figure it out and ask someone about the preditor.

Does it cause your truck to shift hard ? And does it make the rpm's go up to about 3000 to 3500 before shifting ?
I ask because I have a superchip and im not real happy with it, because of these things.
Besides I didnt know the preditor was on, or having a sale. Heck I will be in town and would love to try it out .
Sorry to interupt your conversation

X 03 Jeff... I'll try to answer...

ALL tuners/modules, etc...
SHOULD modify your automatic tranny shifts to be more firm when under MUCH more power than stock... otherwise you'd have slippage and heat... both not the best friends of a stock tranny !
But MY predator is "soft" when I'm not driving "aggresively" and "crisp" when I am...
**********************

The accelerator pedal controls the rpms a lot more than the module
just let off the throttle and the rpm's drop
but honestly I don't recall watching the rpms when I've been at WOT....
it gets there and shifts SO fast it's best to be watching the road while it's shifting !
but I know it hasn't shifted such that Me or the truck have sustained any injuries...
(other than the fingernail marks in the passenger grab handle and the stains on my passenger seat )
**********************

I've been very happy with the predator and what it does for my truck...
like I've said b4 - makes it an 8K lb sports car !
I really can't imagine anyone trying one of these and NOT keeping it !
