No temp control w/A/C switch on MAX
I'm trying to determine if my 04 PSD F-250 A/C is working properly. With the selector set at MAX I get full cooling regardless where the warm/cool switch is set. Set to the NORMAL A/C position, I can regulate the temp. I like to run in MAX to keep the outside air out, but it's a pain to have to regulate temp with the fan switch? Thanks for any input!

I'm not certain on this because I haven't seen an '04 yet, but I heard rumor Ford was now installing a valve to the heater core which closes when max a/c is selected. This has been a popular mod to do to trucks in the past because it brings the duct temps down by several degrees.
If it does have the valve, you could probably unhook the vacuum line from the valve and plug it, assuming my theory based on rumors and ramblings is correct.... (No offense to anyone who rumored or rambled)
