.....from AOL. I got another cd in the paper today. 1099 hours free for 50 days. Lets see 1099 over 24 hours = 45.79 days. You could be on line for 45.79 days straight and then get some sleep. I like these cd's; they make good targets.

The cases the cd's come in are nice, I keep those to hold little things, like screws, cigarettes, etc.

The cd's on the other hand make good frisbees

 

I prefer to use the CD's as coasters, turn them upside down (shinney side up) and the go great with any decor. hehe.

Used to, AOL would send them out in actual DVD cases... man, wish I woulda know that DVD burners would be so cheap now, those woulda came in handy.

I went head to head with aol and won. my foster son (now gone) had signed up with aol and had the billing come to our home phone number, twice on 2 different accounts! i called up aol and told them to cancel the accounts. i was going to make my foster son pay up to teach him a lesson. i explained this to the gal who answered the phone. i then questioned her as to how they are able to bill me without approval. she got real snippy with me and started talking like they could take my foster son to court, that he commited fraud, blah, blah blah. well, that really ticked me off. here i'm telling them we're gonna pay, and she throwing threats. so i get a supervisor on the line. she starts saying the same stuff. i ask her if aol is in the business of taking teenagers to court. she said they would. i said fine. He is a foster child, a ward of the state of california. he is represented by a court appointed state attorney with unlimited resources. please cancel the accounts, credit my phone bill, or i will give his attorney a phone call that his client is being hassled by AOL. i garunteed her that a 20 minute phone call to from a state attorney to AOL's law dept would cost AOL way more than a couple of months worth of charges. i get so sick of big companies sometimes.

You ever put a cd in the microwave? Pretty Cool!!! No it wont ruin your microwave, for a couple seconds it looks like its going to blow, then the whole music side spiderwebs...neat-o

AOL was my first ISP. I used it for about 2 years FREE of charge! How? Every time i called to cancel, they would give me like 2 more months for free. I think i still overpaid...

 

AO Hell is what we called it....ahh the good old dial up days.....i allways return to sender on those CD's

 

when i fall into the voice mail trap i don't press anything at all. the system will identify you as someone who doesn't have a touch tone phone
