clutch problem
i have a 89 f350with a 5 speed in it.i have to try to push the clutch THROUGH the floor to shift gears.the truck also will not start without jumping the solenoid out.several people have told me the clutch needed replacing.
heres the deal,i had a 93 250 with the same problem and it turned out to be worn bushings in the clutch pedal assembly.
in the 89' i cant see if the bushings are wore or what.is this a common problem on all hvy duty trucks because of the powerful pressure plates?
has anyone had similar problems with similar years?thanks,Kevin.
