EGR error 402?
Hello new to this forum thing, nice setup you guys have going here. But anyways I had a question on an error code, hopefully someone can help me. I recently bought a 2001 Ford F-150 Triton V8 4.6L. Its nice looking with a 5in RCD Lift with a 3in Body, totaling 8inches of lift on 36in Parnelli Jones. I always bought a few mods for it, like a hypertech programmer. Before I could program It said i had some errors that I needed to clear inorer to flash my cpu thing. It gave me a number, so i went to autozone and got a manual and it was something about the EGR system. I'm not sure but it was most likey error 402. I was wondering if this is a big problem for performance or fuel economy or what. Would i have to replace the sensor, i just wanan make sure nothing will happen while i go on my 4 1/2 hour trip to los angeles from phoenix. I have no clue, the lady at autozone didnt know anything and the manual only said it was a sensor. If someone could please help me with this, i'd greatly appreaciate it thanks in advance.
