It was my 18th b-day, i was working at the junkyard, my brother (god rest his soul) came to pick me up, and brought me a present, her name was cindy-lee.
thanks bro!!!
A friend who flew choppers in Viet Nam told me about the time some nurses were laying over (in transit), and they had a big round-eye party. No movies, no restaurants, no nothin' - so they went down to the end of the camp and set the dump on fire, and then shot, clubbed and stomped the rats as they came running out. At first the girls were a little squeamish, but once they clubbed a rat or two they got a fire in their eyes and turned into some pretty vicious killing machines. They had a real good time, and couldn't wait to travel through that part of the country again.
the thing that worked the best for me ever was frisbee in a park with a playground, you go play like 30 minutes before the sun goes down then if it works out alright you have the park to yourself, i dont know but it work really well for me
heres a some what related question what and where and how do you make the first move, my personal favorite is to rest the hand on the leg at the movies, cause ive never been a fan of the whole sneeking of your arm around the shoulder just my personal opinion.
Um.... first move??? Let's clarify that... first kiss.
But, if I want to kiss a girl, I simply tell her that, and ask if I may do as such. Seems to work well. They seem to respect it more. And obviously, if they say no, I say okay, and go on about with the date, then let her make the "first move" when she's ready.
Some say I'm old fashion though, hehe. Oh-well, I am, what can I say???
when it comes to first moves i just say go for it, i dont bother asking because it might be a mood killer. you can tell when its ok to make a move if you pay close enough attention.and thats always worked for me. things are just supposed to happen on their own.
as for dates, i havent had one that really stood out but with a girl i met last week, we hung out together the other night by sitting out in a field and watching the stars and we decided to walk back to my truck cuz the bugs were biting and so we could listen to the radio, and when we stood up i grabbed her hand and we walked back to my truck like that, which was hidden in the trees on a field access road, where we spent the next 2 hours...
I must be a redneck - but the 2 best i can think of are I took my girl (now my wife ) to a rodeo, and to the truck pulls. O yea - she's from Texas so maybe those wouldn't work for just anybody.
The worst was while at college in Texas, my buddy and I took her along muddin' with us and got WAY STUCK ( had to climb out the windows onto the roof and jump off the side of the bed into knee deep mud - water and mud was running IN the passenger side window)!! Had to walk almost 5 miles out to a paved road and another 3 miles 'till we found a house that we weren't scared to stop at. We laugh about it now - but she was NOT laughing then!!!!
Interesting. Well, one wasn't technically a date because she had a boyfriend, but I was at a party and me and this girl got bored, so we went out 4wheeling in my truck, and then went to a diner and BS'd for about 3 hours. Nothing sneaky, just fun. As far as real dates, I took my wife to a monster truck show. We go to car shows a lot for dates. Now if I could just get her to go to a tractor show or 20.....
Tried getting this one lady to go to the AHDRA (All Harley Drag Racing Assoc.) races with me this weekend but it slipped her mind.
I know it slipped her mind after her reaction last night when I saw her after the races. She would have went today but she had to work. I do have her talked into going to the NHRA National here in a couple weeks.

well.. i always go to dinner and a movie first. that way if they are boring or you just dont click, during the movie you are quiet and well you just enjoy the movie.

One of the best dates I can recall was with my wife way back when we first started dating. I used to help run some Jeep Jamborees/4x4 trips back in the day and on our fourth date I took her with me for a weekend. She spent the whole time driving my Jeep and bonding wiht my dog, while I was out walking the trails and spotting for people. We camped with some friends all weekend and of course it stormed one night, but she was a real trooper, and that was when I knew she was the one for me, because she could make the best out of any situation. It turned out to be one of the best trips I ever had.
