Key programming requires a 10 minute access delay, but no delay needed to access the door key pad code. My dealership only charges 27.00 to program a key, and usually will retrieve key pad codes for free if you ask nicely.

No need to deal with service, unless something has changed. Your saleman can look it up in the vehicle file. In the last few years they are better at recording codes for keyless and key codes. Almost all are there. Sales guys just want you happy so you come back to them next time your buying......even if you bought used try calling the original dealer.

When you buy it used you don't have a salesman and when you buy it in Dallas 450 miles away you even have less of one.
