Gas Mileage
My 1998 F-250 has 151,000 miles,has 4x4 and gas mileage has went down in the last year bad. 13-14mpg. Changed plugs & fuel filter 6,000 miles ago. Helped for awhile. Could it be oxygen sensors,EGR valve or just old age. Has 4 O2 sensors & 4 catalytic converters. Bought it with 95,000 on it and ran great with lots of power. Has a miss in the motor @ 4500rpm too.

Welcome to the forum 
I am assuming that you have a 5.4L? I would first start by cleaning the MAF (mass airflow sensor) There is a good tech article in the 97-03 forum in the FAQ thread.
Have you scanned the computer to see if it has any stored codes?
