new 460
just got a 460 the other day and want to know how i should build it for good hp and tq throughout the whole rpm range. i drive on the highway with it about 2 times a week and around town everyday and in the mudd i would say 4-5 times a month so any help you all can give me would be greatly appriciated. i am kinda poor so superchargers and other huge investments are out of the question.

Sounds like your funds are about like mine. I would run a pre-70's timing gear, have the heads professionally worked, RV cam, then all new bearings, seals, oil pump, rings, etc. Use the book for specs, procedures and you should do well.
