ok i dont know what is up with my shifter but the freakin think does 360's literally i can spin the freggin thing around in circles all day i pulled it all apart and the only thing i saw was a worn bushing type thing but i dont think its the problem i also have to turn the shifter 180 to get into reverse its not a big deal just a little annoying and some help would be nice

i have a 90 automatic, im pretty sure u guys are talking manuals but still, on my auto the shifter came off when i was going from park to drive and got stuck in neutral i was able to turn it off but now take out the keys and i had to apply the parking brake, but i got it semi fixed where i can at least shift from park to drive and reverse, everything works, but it takes a lot to get it to slide right, i stuck a nail in it between some holes and it sort of stays lol, anyone know how to fix this where it's as good as new? thanks -jerome
