Mysterious plug.....
I bought an 88 F250 w/ 5.8 FI. Does anyone know what this plug goes to, it is under the dash by the petals?? The jumper was in there when I bought it, if you remove it the starter will not operate. Thanks for any help.

Whoops, forgot to say it has a 5 speed. Could someone have changed to a manual shift column? I couldn't seem to find where this would plug in. Do these trucks have some sort of neutral safety switch with manual trans?? Thanks

by the way, if you have cruise control, you'll need to jump those 2 light green wires together.

there's no other half of the plug.
this connector goes to the switch on clutch pedal pushrod. The switch is above the gas pedal. it is PITA to see.
