Headers...Again
Hi All,
i"m a new guy..91 shorty 99,000 and have done search for the headers,and looks to me that no one has put headers on? Is there anyone with headers on,or do I even want to try ?
I know that they will have to be for ranger (sorry forgot 3.0) and that will most likly need to have mod's
So what do you all think should I give it a try?

too bad none of us are as skilled as those guys at OCC on American Chopper, or Jesse James. they often make their own exhaust for the bikes by bending and welding pipe themselves.
it would be fun, or alot of hard work either way. but to say that you made your own performance headers would earn some major bragging rights.
I am a student, A multi-media design and production major. but I think I am going to go astray one of these terms and do a 12 credit class to become a certified welder.
it seems like if a guy took flat plate steel, and a stock set of headers, they could trace the mating face of the manifold, then just bend up some pipes to fit within the original confines of the stock headers. that my friends, would be ultra cool!
