manual tranny

i know we probably covered this before, but does anyone know if the aerostar came with a 5 speed tranny in the extended version? i found a 1993 shorty with a five speed this weekend, it was cool!!..but i need the space my extended 91 has...hmmm....rick

Do you know where to get a 5 speed bell housing for a 3.0?

Then put it in/ There is no reason you can't. Just get a driveshaft cut to fit.

Wont need a new driveshaft. The one from the shorty will work fine. The bodies are identical until after the rear differential.

Thats right the body was extended from the rear axle on 18"
