. If/when it comes time for me to replace mine, I would probably go with a Ford longblock.

A good long block 302?
I need to get a long block 302. Where is a good place to get a good one for under $1500? I know the zone and checkers has them but anywhere else? Thanks!

I kept on going back and forth and had finally decided to just stick with a 302. I don't want to mess around with conversions. I just want a simple replacement. If I really wanted a bunch more power I would still stick with the 302 and fill it up with mods. I love the engines because they just seem to last and I have a f-100 with a 302 also.

Kam, I saw on another thread that you had ordered a HO 302. Did you order from Ford Motors n Engines? If so you will have to let me know how everything went. Planning to order my next mill from them.

Yup! I just order it earlier. They say it takes 2-4 days to get here to Vegas. They seemed pretty nice on the phone. When I get it installed I will let you know how it works. BTW, thanks alot for telling me about them!
