carb keeps squirting fuel
Just tried rebuilding a Holley 4150. Now whenever I turn the key on and the fuel pump comes on, fuel flows into the carb, and doesn't stop. I'm guessing I screwed up somewhere. Any suggestions where to start?

The floats are not set correctly. You need to remove the sight screws in the side of the bowls and adjust them down until the fuel level is just below the opening. This is done by holding the needle and seat adjuster with a 5/8" wrench and just loosening the locking screw. The turn the nut clockwise until the fuel level is just below the sight hole.
If you turn it all of the way down and it still floods, remove the needle and seat assemblies and look for debris in them where the poited end of the needle goes into the seat, then reinstall and properly adjust.

PS, MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE AN INLINE FUEL FILTER!! Holleys are very sensitive to small pieces of debris.
