Need some explanation....

Ive heard that people swap the stock B2 radiator with a explorer one,why is this? i cant seem to figure out why unless your taking the engine out of the explorer as well.Is it beneficial just to swap the radiator alone? also what is this 86-87 throttle body swap ive heard about? im trying to beef up my 1989 bronco II XLT,so any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you kindly in advance.

I can't answer the throttle body thing, but the reasom people swap in the explorer radiator is that they explorer had a bigger (better) radiator, and the Bronco II has some over heating issues. So, they will put the radiator from the explorer in to prevent any problems, this is good when you go offroad, since you arent getting that much airflow around the engine.

There might be another more technical reason, but I dont know it.

Cool

The throttle body swap is exactly that, swapping the throttle body of an '86-'87 BII into a newer model. The older ones had a larger throttle body and provided better performance. The swap suposedly takes less than a half hour and is a direct bolt in. It just doesn't get any easier than that.
