Could someone please help me
i have a 72 F100 with a V8 302
i have got it running pretty sweet at idle and if you accelrate slowly it revs up nicely
but as soon as you boot it dies off and will stall unless you take off the throttle
i originaly thought it was the vacume advance but i got a new one and the problem remains any ideas
check the fuel filter it may have some crap in it. if that's not it check the cap and rotor they may be burnt. i'm leaning more to the fuel filter or carb adjustment side.
for the carb ajustments there should be 2 flat head screws on (2bbl) the bottom of the front of the carb (truck off) screw both in and back out 1 and3/4 turns and ajust idle (drivers side by the throttle ) screw it in to raise idle out to lower idle
