windsor or cleveland
HI I am new to this site
I am building a 351, run it on LPG, twin turbo's and IC.
I have been told that the cleveland block is poor and i should build a boss motor as i have to replace all the reciprocating parts in my 351 anyway so i figure i will build a boss stroker, how far can the 351W safely be taken out to, what is a mexican block W, any advice on the build is greatly appreciated as i have no experience with Windsor's
Regards
Chuck

ok ive never had any of them(exepet w) BUT i do no that i WOULD LOVE TO HAVE YOUR MONEY
clevland----- was the only moter that had a 4 bold main witch was really popular on racing due to every other had a two bolt
mexican------- was able to take the heat and has a stanp on it that says M under the head on the outer block some where
get a book called ford parts interchange (its red and has a 302 )on the front (bout 20 bucks at a big book store)
and when it comes to boreing go no farther then you have to becouse the heat of the pistons and the waret temp will severly damage the moter by weakenining the walls
