Hi all

Recently starting having problems with my truck, 360, holley 600 carb, new eletric fuel pump new feul lines and filters, Problem having is I turn fuel pump on and fill fuel line and filters.
Hook line up to carb and start and run engine, after driving for about a mile acceling and slowling the fuel pump starts pumping air, and fuel line empties just enough fuel to idle engine nothing else. have full tank of gas, pulled pick up tube and checked no blockages or kinks, even put under water and pressure tested pickup line no air leaks

any help would be greatful

Where is the fuel pump located, is it near the fuel tank or near the engine?

it has to be as close to the tank as possible and a little under it if you can.

Try running it without the gas cap. It may need a vented cap to continue sucking fuel
