The way a dog thinks.
My owner brings me food, water and gives me shelter. I could not live without him. He must be a god.

Last week PETA came to town to try to convince everyone to eat vegetables and quit eating meat, chicken and fish. They even had their mascot Kernal Korn. A local rock radio station showed up and had a BIG BARBEQUE with a live broadcast inviting all of their listeners to come get free burgers and hot dogs. Thats just too funny. Those PETA folks were POed.
We've got a leash-law for cats now. I guess it was in response to dog-owners' complaints of discrimination. LOL, ever see a cat on a leash? The owners quickly find out how loyal their furry little friends really are. Technically, any flea-bag cat not on a leash is considered wild and subject to the penalties from being a nuisance. The Humane Society is reluctantly loaning out traps so that we may rid ourselves of these pests.
The nieghbors cat decided that my bronco was the place to hang out. First I put in a really sensitive alarm, that worked for about a month. He then got used to it. the best solution was to get about 100' of garden hose and mount a sprinkler in the rafters of the car port. Then plug a radio into one of the bulb holders on the motion light. When radio goes off go out back door turn on water and wash cat. worked at my grandfathers and at my sister-in-laws also.
Something that works really well and doesn't mess up your truck:
Sprinkle a little pepper over your hood with a pepper shaker. The cats hate the smell and will stay away, plus it blows off when you drive. Make sure the hood is waxed or it'll goop up and not easily blow off if you get dew in the morning on the hood. We've used this method with great success.

They sell a sprinkler that has a motion detector built in. Set the sprinkler up so that it will cover the top of the truck. When the cat jumps up on the truck, it gets a shower. Do this for about a month, and it should solve your problem. Make sure you dry it in the morning to avoid water spots. A good waxing beforehand would also be a good idea.
My uncle had a cat who used to sleep underneath the truck. The ol 1970s something f-250 custom. Still works, completely stock, absolutely nothing done but what was nessesary to keep it running, but still havn't put enough in repairs to say its not worth it. It has been off the road since 95 though. Serves it's duties as a plow on his long dirt road driveway in the boonies of maine. Parked next to the 88' Blazer that needs a transmission. Parked next to that, is an 88' Bronco, completely stock, nothing done to body. Rusted pretty bad but still runs fine at 250k mi, has only needed a water pump in 250k mi on a 351. Oh, by the way, the cat slept under the drunk all the time, however, one day it never woke up, died in its favorite spot, under a FORD.
