Secondly, what are you trying to accomplish??? Are you talking auto trans or manual? I am assuming auto so here is a site, but some small block patterns had a C6 behind them, 351C comes to mind. One thing to consider, a C6 will suck out about 30% of your motor output from the start, so bolting one up behind a 289/302 really isn't a wise thing...
THANK YOU FOR YOUR RESPONSE.....MY AD WAS TOO BRIEF. I WANT THE ADAPTER PLATE TO PUT A CUMMINS ENGINE TO A ZF TRANSMISSION.
THE ONLY ADAPTER PLATE FOR A CUMMINS ENGINE IS FOR A SMALL BLOCK. I WANT TO RUN A ZF-5 SPEED TRANSMISSION WITH A 4.1 FIRST GEAR TO ACCOMODATE A HI REAR END RATION OF ABOUT 3.07 DUE TO TO THE LOW RPM RANGE & POWER BAND.
PROBLEM IS THAT THE ZF COMES IN MANNY PATTERNS AND ONLY THE LARGE
DIESEL OR 460 CAN BE MADE WITH THIS RATIO.
SO I AM TRYING TO ADAPT A LARGE BLOCK PATTERN TRANSMISSION OR DIESEL PATTERN TO A SMALL BLOCK ADAPTER PLATE.
THANK YOU
CARL

If you want to use the diesel ZF or 460 ZF just get the adapter. If you have a small block adapter to bolt a small block trans to a Cummins that would be the first I've heard of one. My understanding of this is that there is not enough room in small block ZFs or NP435s for that matter, to clear the twelve inch clutch or pressure plate of the Cummins. I may be wrong but I have some knowledge of the subject...........
Fordcummins....makes A *******ized Adapter Plate That Uses Everyones Parts....i Would Have To Mix And Match Their Parts, Dodge, Etc. Currently, I Have An Oem Cummins Adapter That Is A Gm, With Flywheel, Starter Ect. 2nd Option Is For An Oem For A Small Block Ford Pattern. And Yes It Does Fit Into A Grumann With A Small Block Pattern Trans.
First you said you wanted to mate a Cummins to a ZF, simple enough. Now your wanting to mate a small block ZF to a Cummins and now your claiming to have a GM adapter? So that means your trying to mate a ZF to a GM adapter plate that probably came out of a Chevy stepvan, to a Cummins. What????? Is this what you're trying to do? Because everything else you've said so far is extremely confusing. Sell everything you have, except the Cummins, buy a good 7.3 or 460 ZF and get the adapter to mate the two. The one inch thick aluminium ZF plate that FordCummins sells doesn't use 'everybodies parts'. It uses Dodge/Cummins and FordZF parts which happen to be the two things you are trying to mate together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Jeesssssssssssssss
Solution Solved.....found An Adapter From Wilcap Adapters That Allows Injection Pump To Be Timed...other Guys In Montana Can't Be Timed. Did Find A Ford Sb - Bb Adapter From Tdperformance For Future Reference. Thanks For Help.
