blue beater wont start

i hav an 84 ford f100 wit a 300 inline. i hav been tryin to start it and it jus cranks and cranks and wont try to fire. i hav no clue wat it is. wat could it be?

Pull a park plug out a set it against the block and see if it sparks. This will tell you if it is ignition or fuel related. Then go from there.

i got an ignition tester and it wasnt gettin any spark so i got a new modulater that goes on the distributer and i still wasnt gettin any thing.

What about ignition module? Or is that what you are referring to that "goes on the distributor"?

Have you check continuity from the ignition switch itself?
