Todays New Users....
Whats with em? When I joined this site, you were courteous to people, even though you don't know them past an Avatar. I've run into a lot of new users that are downright rude, not just the guys in the FvsC forum.
Now don't get me wrong, new users are the lifeblood of this site, but its kinda like dealing with little kids sometimes.
I'm not saying all the new users are young people either, some of the most knowledgeable people on this site are fairly young...

I think that sometimes the anonimity of the internet makes it easy for people to post things that they wouldn't see in person. I do agree with you though, although the majority of those folks post in the Ford vs The Competition forum. Oh well, they won't last long with a negative attitude.

True, I'm merely pointing out the irony of a user who signed up last year talking about the "new" users. Hey, I've got a weird sense of humor!
I figure the new peeps who just come on like jerkwads out of the gate are trolls or little better. Downside of the web.

I know I am new but I think that most of the people on here are actually trying to help other people. Alot of the people wh come here that are rude might be people who just like to make trouble or a "c" truck (is it a truck?) driver.

Usually it is someone who doesn't get any kind of attention in their life.
So *bad attention* is better than *No Attention* to them.
I call it:"acting out"
Little do these people know is that some great relationship's can happen from being considerate to each other.
They don't know this because they haven't ever have experienced this type of thing,especially on the internet.

Your typical internet forum is lacking much, if any moderation, so its second nature to start shooting insults right outa the gate.....either you learn quick here, or you leave quick, one way or the other...its "quick" your right though matt....

As you can tell from the data up in the right corner there, I AM one of the newbies...but in the short time I've been on FTE I have REALLY come to enjoy the members and the interaction with these great people. I HATE that there's people out there tarnishing the image of new members....sad story of the world, that the few negative people or occurances screw things up for everyone else. Makes it difficult to be such a dedicated optimist.
