Hey guys. I'm looking for info on my 69 f100. replaced the rag joint but it's still stressed. cab mounts are in good shape. there appears to be a lower bearing or bushing missing from just above the lower shaft clamp, but i'm having trouble finding any pictures on what it should look like. the steering wheel gap at the top is too large as a result. any help with either pics or good places to get parts would be cool. and would keep another 69 on the road.
if you cant get the part's for your column you can get one out of a 1973-1979 f-100.. i have a 1972 custom i could net get my sterring wheel off so i just got a column out of a 1979 f-100... good luck..... let me know if you have any other problems with it i will try to help if i can.
thanks bud. turns out by searching around i came up with a pretty good picture @ John' F-Fun Hundreds and they appear to have all the parts. now i have to decide if i want to take this baby apart, switch columns to newer, rebuild this one, or go to power steering. i already put discs on the front. also, this truck has a factory installed tool box behind the seat in the cab and the fuel tank mounted under the bed, made it interesting when in ran dual exhaust from my headers. anyone know about this option?

That seems like a somewhat rare option as only a few members here over the years had that option.
