porting heads

how much does it cost to port heads and how hard is it to do the job of switching them and stuff also what would the power gains be from that on a 97 2wd f-150?

If you've got a '97, then get the PI heads and intake from a '99-'03. That should give you bolt-on improvment.

The 99-up PI heads will give you about 35hp and raise the compression to 10:1. This will probably require 89 or 91+ octane fuel.
You will also need a PI intake manifold to go with the heads if you change them.
