Do the five windows in my truck count when driving down the turnpike. It's been busted in my truck since april, and costs too much to fix. I can't wait for a new truck with a/C in it. In the house: my sister and mom don't like turning it on, so it's up to my dad and I to turn it down to 70 ASAP after work. There's no sin greater.

....when Im home its at 85....I cant afford the electric bill if I run it much colder.
I recently bought a programmable thermostat, seems to be working pretty good.
....My problem is I will alternate between sweats and chills all through the nite. Maybe I need to crank it down to 78 at nite then pile on the blankets......

The truck and the bike dont have a/c.....not bad when I lived in WA, starting to kinda suck here in the desert.

In Az I put it at 80 during the day with ALL of the fans on and 78 at night. Any more than that you will be paying out major $$$$$$$

Yes, I am talking about in the house. I guess I should have clarified that a little better

Gotta love this AZ heat... I believe it is on 75 right now, with a fan going full blast right on me.

I find the same thing. (Sort of.) In the winter, I set the thermostat at 65, and it gets hot at times. When my niece comes over, my wife CRANKS the heat up to about 80 or 85. I don't know why. Something to do with keeping a baby comfortable I think.

But with having no AC, we (I) turn the furnace off in April and the temperature hovers around 75.

Some people live with great weather. Some people live where the jobs are.
