90 BII armrest
I have a 90 BII Eddie Bauer all stock except for the passenger side exhaust manifold. I have a tan center console that I am trying to restore. I have everything I need except the armrest. I would need the armrest itself and arm to hold it to the back of the console. I am aware that there was a Service bulliten for this part back in Feb of 92 but I have only been in posession of the vehicle since 2000 and have not been able to find an armrest since then. Does anyone have one for sale, or know where i can purchase an OEM armrest. I don't want to get an aftermarket one unless it looks just like the original armrest. Please help me.

yes i have tried ebay for about a year and no one has what i am looking for from what i can see. i tried the junkyards in my area but none of them have a console for a 90 BII and the one that had one had an aftermarket console.
on a side note i did pick up a complete passenger door handle assembly for only $10 when ford wanted $35 just for the one plastic peice that i broke trying to re-insert a loose bottom pin.

The Gen 1 Explorer{91-95} has the same center console as the the Gen 2 BIIs.Heck most of the interia will interchange on them and almost all on the running gear will to.You might went to go that rt..The Xs are earsey to find then BIIs are JMO

GrayRanger is right. Go with the Explorer parts(closer to 95 the better). The later models have steel reiforcments in the arm that you want.

found an armrest on ebay that's at 10.51 right now (i'm winning) the descrpition says it will fit a 90-94 explorer...i guess it will fit mine because the bracket looks the same...plus it's in mint condition
