Well after going back and forth and reading all your stories I finally broke down and ordered the predator!!!!!! Only problem now is I cant wait until tomorrow comes. You think I will have a little less tread depth after work tomorrow?? Thanks MotorHaven
Hmmm... with that equipment you could be down hare in Texus in about 3 hours !!!!
Just wait !!!!
And put it in 65HP mode and drive easy a bit until it settles in then increase right foot pressure as long as the roads aren't wet !!!!
be forewarned...
when the boost comes up on this it WILL break traction if the roads are not bone dry and clean... (reason I say clean is that we go by to see the progress on the new house and the exit road from the area has a crest that falls away as you pull out onto the main road....
I turned it sideways because of some dust when I was trying to beat traffic....
Wonder what that traffic thought when they saw the side of an 8 k lb Ex running away from them
I KNOW they saw my white knuckles sawing on the whee-wheel !!!!
I have mental issues regarding the Predator...When bowties are in close proximity (especially on either side of me) the dark side always seem to appear.
The small plume of black smoke (indicating to all that the afterburners are kicking in) then the chrip of the tires in at least two shifts...Well...it's just priceless.
Flash backs to the '65 Goat days (GTO to you youngin's)

Install the 65 horse program first and follow the directions in the manual about the 5 cold starts. Mine works great and I love it on my 04/04 Harley edition.
5 cold starts...... OK... I think I can........ I think I can. Friend and I have identical travel trailers...... keystone cougar304's I have the ford he has the bowtie .... with the new duramax.... he has only had his truck about a month now but we are going camping together in a few weeks. He does not know and I will not tell him about the new addition. I cant wait to see the look on his face as I am just running away from him. I dont think he could have kept up stock (we have not yet run together) but now I know as soon as we are done camping he will be spending all kinds of money trying to keep up....... lol
You'll be very happy with it. I received my Predator about a week ago, it was a fast truck before, but the Predator just makes it so much more fun. I love leaving dual black strips on the road behind me
