new shocks?
I have a nice 1990 f-250 super cab, long bed that try to keep in tip top shape. It has been a while since I have put new shock absorbers on. I would like to stiffen up the ride. Does anyone have a brand of heavy duty shocks that they could recommend?
Also is there anything to do to stiffen up the springs other than putting in new ones? Thanks

Yep, Rancho does make a good shock and it will most likely stiffen up the ride some. I put Rancho 9000X's on the rear and Bilsteins on the front of my F350 and am very happy with both of them.
On the springs, they can be re-arched if they are sagging, or you can put an add-a-leaf under them to lift them up a bit.
