Been reading here for a long time and finally had to ask a ? of my own. I have a 1993 F250 5.8L and I am starting to do small projects , well to my question I did a full tune up and when i tried to replace the fuel filter i could not get it off, well after all the work i did , plugs oil etc... My truck is running good but when i shut it off it makes a two second sucking sound. Like a big slurp by the back of the motor and i can not figure it out. Again it is after i shut it off.
Sounds like a vacuum source relieving vacuum after the engine is shut off. Listen for it with the engine running too, see if you can hear it and trace it down.
