front leaf springs
Tonight, I parked next to a 75 250 XLT, with 33's. I have 31s there was at least a 5 or 6 inch diff in heighth, so I hopped out, and took a gander at his front and rear ends. The leafs in front were just slightly above the point of being level, straight across. mine, on the other hand are sagging , the eyelets probably sag an inch, to an inch and a half below the axle. This is probably due to the previous original owner keeping an overhead camper on this truck for 17 years I'd imagine. I'm lifting this truck 6" in three Years, and I'm putting 35's on it then. I just ordered 33's yesterday, to get away from this low look of what I thought was from the 31's. Now my question is.... What is the cheapest means of getting some stock LEVEL front Springs?? I cant stand knowing my truck is getting tired, and this situations gotta get fixed before I throw the new tread on, I wont be able to sleep at night now. Thanks~ Hardball..
