rumbling?
i just bought a 1997 F-150 and now i have noticed a rumbling in the rear end. i hope it is nothing serious. if anyone has had a similar problem, can you let me know what it was and what i should do. thank you

Recommend that you change the lube in the rear axle. While the cover is removed from the differential, you will be able to inspect the internals.
Your '97 is probably due for a rear axle oil change anyhow since it probably has not been replaced since the truck was new.
