the blaster 36 delivered from the sig online guys
has 100:1 windings and the blaster 2f plugs in
were as the hei coil from msd has 85:1/ vertex 70:1 windings speaking because of conversion that drops in and replaces the coil / module / dizzy
just checked the msd(~56)/vertex TFI coil has 85:1 too i assume it is better than original
so for every wire loop from the iggy system there are 100 loops on the secondary(spark) side
the mallory pro-master(quite expensive) coil has 105:1 windings for a reference
jacobs energy coil has 90:1
"" ultra coil 85:1
"" Ultra Torquer Coil 90:1
just a look into the windings also resistance is a issue and design
oh ya check the wiring out or at night give it a mist of water to check for shorts in the plug and iggy wires

oh ya forgot i don't know what ford was thinking BUT we never mount a oil filled coil in a high vibration area or in and other possition than verticle its a good way to burn your windinga
I am thinging of fab'ing a bracket(shock-resistant) and attaching to raditor support
ya know something purfectly verticle and not on a 351/400 ci vibrating engine )
i got a $2000 price range so i think i will take the coil and distributer off the 351m that is coming out of my truck and put it on the 400 that is going in my truck.
