wheel bowing after drop

I want to drop my 84 f-150 2 inches with the front coil springs and the leaf springs. I was talking to a friend of mine who is a mechanic and owns a 76 f-100. He said when you drop an old ford like mine it has a tendency to bow the tires and cause extreme unneeded tire wear. I just got a set of very nice tires and rims for nearly nothing and i dont want anything bad happening to them. Is there any way to fix this bowing problem so i dont destroy my tires?

yes there is, the only way you can drop a twin i beam is to either buy drop spindles or drop axels.
the reason is because of the way the front end is designed. with the single pivot point the axles move in an arc. i have heard of guys bending their axles, but that is not a good idea.

If you need to buy drop spindles or drop axels, then why do they have drop springs and leafs in the LMC truck catalogs. Wouldn't they know better or at least carry the drop spindles and axels?

the leafs you can use on the rear, and you can get axels or spindles that require a drop coil for the front.
the drop coils are used for bigger drops, like 6 in drop.

OK... so the rear leaf springs are ok to use by themselves. In the front i need the drop axels or spindles along with the coils. Where could i find these axels or spindles and what are the pro's and con's to using one over the other.
