changing fuel pump
I will be changing out the fuel pump on a 2000 F250 7.3 powerstroke diesel SD. Could someone please tell me the steps involved and do I need a special tool to remove the horseshoe retainer for fuel line at suction side of pump? Thanks in advance

No special step required. There is a small barb at the end of the horseshoe that will be in the way when you take it off. You have to bend it down like flattening a fishhook barb to get it to remove. It's basic mechanic skills to R&R the pump.
