400/edlebrock problems

I have checked the timing and it is correct. 1 is firing tdc when rotor is at the #1 spot on the cap. I haven't checked the cam timing yet. The only way to tell is to float the valves right.

I'm fairly sure the msd is wired correct. I had stock in before and runs pretty much the same as the ignition module. I also have flame thrower coil.

Does anyone know where I can find a timing pointer. I seem to have misplaced my during the rebuild.

I'm with Beartracks what timing chain did you put in? If it is stock the cam is 4 degress retarded, that will kill anything your trying to get out of it. If you are pulling the cap off the dis. look at the sprags to tell were it's at. A half a sprag is 7 1/2 degress rotion of the crank. Check it
