Headliner?
Does any place sale new headliners for a 89 BII? Im getting quoted between $109 and $169 here, and figured there has to be a cheaper way. The original headliner got wet a few hundred times from cracks in the sealer along the drip rails. I have since fixed that, but the liner now needs a face lift.

Check with local junkyards. I got one for my '87 BII cheap from a wrecked one, headliner was perfect and right color but I had to remove it. Don't know about the '89 but the '87 is a rigid one piece with 3 sections of insulation above it. Lot of screws and pieces to remove and put back but was worth it. I did it by myself and had to cut out for my sunroof but wasn't too bad. Looks great now.
