im considering it too, but i like to play in the mud...ive soaked my fram filter a couple of times and had to replace it. what would i do if i got the open element wet on the tru rev kit?
I just got one installed in my explorer. as far as proformance, it help my 0-60 time go from 14.02 seconds to 13.45 seconds. if anyone knows how to convert this to horsepower it would really help. i'll wait till the next tank of gas before i check milage. i stomped on it alot since i got it. it also prduces a deep throty sound.
to answer the question about gas milage, let me just say it helps alot. before the best highway milage i was able to get was 16.390 mpg and that was all highway miles. On this last tank i was able to get 18.614 mpg, and that was only driving 75% highway miles. At that increase i would say this is defently work the time and money for the intake kit.
Hope this gives everyone else some good information on this great product.

No is is designed to fit the stock MAF, but if you know a machineist, they could easily bore it out to fit a larger MAF. If not any local machine shop would do it for you.
The Ifab setup comes with a MAF adapter to fit the opening of the stock MAF sensor. but as i said before you could have a machine shop bore it out to fit a larger MAF sensor.
