TSB 02-20-8 OCT 02 A/C System - Diagnosis and Service Tips
Anyone have access to the text of this TSB?
My A/C has a mind of its own....
Freezes your nads off sometimes..... Sometimes the vent setting is cooler than the a/c setting.
Have had it to the stealer twice now...answer: "duhhhhhhh...we don't see the problem".
I guess I have to do their work for them.

Had / kinda still have A/C issues with my 6.0. Air temp in tunnel dropping 4 degrees or more @ idle. Red lights etc. Almost immediate drop.
Have since taken to dealer (their actions noted below). I have seen improvement. But not the old "Freeze you out under any conditions" of old.

On the A/C: Reprogramed the PCM per SSM 17048...Pressures 55 PSI low side 250 psi high side after reprogram 30 PSI low side pressure 220 high side pressue. They stated that they got 45 degrees at idle. Well...as my daughters would say... DOUBT IT!!.
Actually they probably did get 45 degrees at 7:30 in the morning & max A/C. Anyway I only live about 15 min from dealership so it is to early to tell if the fix actually works...Kinda sorta seemed to be better though.

There is definite improvement. I still have about a 4 degree drop in temp while sitting @ idle. The difference is the temp is lower to start with.
No A/C issues while driving.
With this said. The outside temps here are about 12-15 degrees higher than when I took it into the shop in June.
